It's Always THE RIGHT TIme.

There is no perfect time. There is no perfect outfit. There is no perfect location.

One of my favorite things about photographing kids is that the best moments rarely happen in a planned setting. This particular session was exactly that: a casual hangout at a friend's house to meet her newborn baby. The photographs were completely unplanned. No coordinated outfits. No carefully chosen backdrop. Just kids being kids in a space where they felt totally at ease.

And honestly? Those are some of the most real, most beautiful photos I've ever taken.

When parents reach out to me, a lot of them say:

  • they want to wait until the kids are a little older
  • they want to wait until they find the right outfits
  • they want to wait until they can book a spot that looks just right.

I get it.

But here is the thing about kids: they are always changing. The way your toddler laughs right now, the way your kid runs across a room, the look they get when they are completely absorbed in something, that is all happening today, in whatever they are wearing, wherever they happen to be.

You do not need a studio. You do not need a golden hour beach session. You just need someone there to capture what is already in front of you.

So if you have been waiting for the "right" moment, consider this your sign. The right moment is the one that is actually happening.
